Evelyn “E.S.” Meditz is a writer based in Austin, Texas. With experience both in the film industry as a producer and screenplay writer, and several subsequent years in the corporate world, Evelyn loves writing stories that explore new horizons.
Evelyn produced and directed her debut feature film, ‘The Dying Eye,” in Edinburgh, Scotland (2013). Evelyn advertised “The Dying Eye” at the 66th Annual Festival de Cannes. “The Dying Eye” has been nominated for the awards “Best Horror/Thriller” and “Best Director” and screened at the Southampton International Film Festival. In addition to film-making, Evelyn was invited to judge the Girls Impact the World Film Festival at Harvard University in 2014 and served as a first round judge for the Screenwriting Competition at the Austin Film Festival.
Evelyn graduated with a 3.9/4.0 GPA at the University of Auckland (2013), holding double degrees in English Literature and Social Anthropology. She completed an Honors Year exchange program at the University of Edinburgh (2012).
